J.J. Abrams is the founder of Bad Robot Productions. He has created, co-created or produced television series such as FelicityAliasLostFringe and Person of interest along with films like Super 8, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the Mission: Impossible, Star Trek and Cloverfield franchises. He will next produce, direct and co-write (with Chris Terrio) Star Wars: Episode IX. Abrams is also currently producing the television series Westworld, and Lovecraft Country and the films Mission: Impossible – Fallout and Overlord.

In addition to his film and television work, Abrams also conceived the novel S. with writer Doug Dorst, which became a New York Times Best Seller in 2013, and is currently producing The Play That Goes Wrong, which premiered on Broadway in April of 2017. Abrams and his wife, Katie McGrath, co-CEO of Bad Robot, live in Los Angeles and have three children.
