Tushar grew up between Mumbai and Malvan by his mother and grandmother’s side in her rural village kitchen, cooking over the fire and learning everything he could about flavor. Being a chef was in his bones and he let his dream take him to North America. He is currently the chef and owner of Vancouver’s top catering company “The Indian Pantry” which brings people on a culinary journey through the Indian subcontinent with many different offerings. In Canada, Tushar indulges in his passion for the outdoors — he spends his weekends backpacking, fishing, and foraging.
