“Abominable and the Invisible City” is a comedy adventure series that continues the wild and wooly fun of DreamWorks Animation’s “Abominable.” Through Everest the yeti, Yi, Jin, and Peng know that there’s a whole magical world out there, and now it’s even closer than they think! When they discover that their surroundings are teeming with magical creatures in need of their help, the kids will set out on extraordinary and heartfelt adventures throughout their city and beyond.
Season 2 Synopsis:
Yi, Jin and Peng’s world is forever changed when the public finds out about the existence of magical creatures. With the help of Everest, the friends form a ‘Creature Brigade’ in order to help the mystical beings find a safe haven while protecting them from prying eyes. It’s not always going to be easy for humans and creatures to peacefully coexist, especially when Yi is being watched by a mysterious force.

S2 Episode 210 ‘Please Hold While We Connect You’
In the wake of the previous episode, the magical creatures have all vanished and the world at large has gone gray. Desperate to fix things, the crew travels to the Magical Realm to confront the omniscient Great Watcher, who was a tempting offer for Yi. The kids manage to retrieve creatures, but being back in the human world is sapping them of their magical energy. Feeling responsible, Yi embarks on a dangerous mission to save everyone – but it’s the community of creatures and humans alike that instead come to Yi’s rescue. Together, they realize that their connections to one another are the most powerful magic of all.

S2 Episode 209 ‘Please Hold for the Next Representative’
Yi and the crew are overrun with pings from humans who are frustrated by creatures they now live alongside. Just when they think they’ve solved one issue, another springs up – and then that original one pops up again too! Meanwhile, we see an ominous pedestal of light progressively become more cracked with each fraught human-creature relationship.

S2 Episode 208 ‘A Hair-ifying Night’
Our crew heads out of the city to reconnect with nature at a once-popular campsite, now deserted and in ruins owing to the urban legend of Yeren: a huge, hairy man who escaped from clown school as the tale goes. After some campfire spookiness, the crew comes face-to-face with the actual Yeren, who turns out to be a benevolent, camouflaging creature. The crew and Yeren team up to rejuvenate the campsite and keep it from being shut down.

S2 Episode 207 ‘We Meat Again’
After their intense battle against Mr. Lung, the Creature Brigade disbands, leaving Yi and Everest as the remaining creature helpers. But thanks to an inert – but magical – chunk of meat called Taisui that falls from the sky, Yi finds herself caught in a time loop, forcing her to return the meat to its rightful home before sundown. Meanwhile, Jin and Peng end up on their own creature mission of sorts. Eventually the crew reunites, and together they are able to return Taisui and end the loop.

S2 Episode 206 ‘Shack Attack’
The crew tracks down the source of the havoc-wreaking robot “Qilin” and winds up trapped by Mr. Lung, the Minticon-using candymaker who disappeared in Season 1. While captive, Yi and the crew learn of a higher power known as the Great Watchers, and that Mr. Lung is furious at Yi for unwittingly replacing him as the GW-approved keeper of magical creatures. Saddled with these mind-blowing revelations, the crew must find a way to escape and stop Mr. Lung from using creature magic for evil.

S2 Episode 205 ‘Qilin-mania’
Superstar-level mania sets in when the renowned and prosperity-brining creature Qilin appears in front of Yi’s building. In trying to protect Qilin from the mob of people hoping for their wishes to be granted, the crew is distraught when they lose track of the creature. Their distress grows upon discovering that this “Qilin” isn’t an auspicious mythical creature at all but a nefarious robot sent by a mysterious figure.

S2 Episode 204 ‘Yi’s LiLi-est Fan’
While Everest is going through some typical teenager growing pains (not wanting to brush his teeth or tidy his room…), a welcome distraction comes in the form of LiLi, an adorable nine-year-old who’s positively obsessed with Yi, Everest, and the crew’s pursuits. When Everest doesn’t return from a sweets-filled outing with LiLi, the crew discovers LiLi’s intentions might not have been so pure.

S2 Episode 203 ‘Tales from the Fox’s Tails’
When a mysterious creature keeps stealing people’s prized possessions, the crew discovers the Nine-Tailed Fox, a trickster rooted in Chinese lore. Unbeknownst to Yi, she is taken on a realm-bending journey by NTF so that the Fox might pry away Yi’s prized violin. The crew eventually comes back together and realizes that NTF takes items people think they need to be happy. Yi was able to hold onto her violin because it truly does make her happy and is a fundamental part of who she is.

S2 Episode 202 ‘The Ditch Sitch’
The crew gets their first ping on their new creature-helping app! A dried up jellyfish-type creature has been discovered at a construction site, and the anti-creature contractor wants it GONE. The crew try taking Jelleen to the sewers to live with Sewer Koi, but the unhappy creature creates a blackout in the sewers with its magical electric charge. Realizing that Jelleen should be able to stay in her original home, the crew must stand up against the contractor and force her to see the error of her ways… or else!

S2 Episode 201 ‘Wu You Gonna Call?’
After the reveal of magical creatures’ existence and Yi’s magic ability, the city’s citizens are unsure how to feel about this new revelation. A popular vlogger, Bryan Wu, sets out to capture viral-worthy footage of creatures and magic, under the guise of helping Yi and her friends get out their “creature awareness” message. Yi and the crew must step in when Bryan puts himself and creatures alike in peril in his pursuit of clickbait.

S1 Episode 110 ‘Chinese Nian Year Pt. 2’
Yi realizes that Peng and Everest were taken by Nian, the legendary dragon-like creature associated with Chinese New Year – and he’s also taken their other creature friends! With Burnish and Duchess’ help, Yi and Jin travel outside of the city to find Nian’s cave. But a skirmish in the cave drives the conflict with Nian back to the city, wreaking havoc on the festival. The crew and creatures band together to try to stop Nian, but they’re no match. Will Yi be able to create magic and connect with the troubled creature without Everest’s magic strings on her violin?

S1 Episode 109 ‘Chinese Nian Year Pt. 1’
It’s Chinese New Year! With Yi and Jin tied up in their respective CNY festival performances, Peng and a semi-disguised Everest hit the festive streets, eating and enjoying everything in sight. Yi panics when an accident breaks her magical violin strings, so she hurries back to find her friends, only to spot Peng and Everest and watch them get snatched up by a menacing, mysterious creature!

S1 Episode 108 ‘Toad-al Recall’
A wish-granting toad drops into Yi and the crew’s life just as the dumpling shop is being reviewed by a food magazine writer. Overwhelmed by her efforts to help her mom and NaiNai in the shop, Yi asks the toad to spit up helpful items – but Jin and Peng aren’t so selfless. After the toad grows weak from the abundance of wishes, Yi and Everest try to help the toad get home.

S1 Episode 107 ‘Yeti Superstitious’
Right before basketball tryouts, Peng learns from Nai Nai that it is his “big bad” year on the zodiac calendar – which means bad luck. Peng is skeptical at first, but after seeing the positive effects of adhering to NaiNai’s superstitions, he dives headfirst into learning all he can to secure his spot on the team. Eventually, he becomes so consumed that he “breaks up” with Yi and Jin because of their zodiac incompatibility.

On the brink of his highly-anticipated White Coat Ceremony at school, Jin proudly dons his new white doctor’s coat around town, unwittingly drawing the attention of a creature named Morty. After a slobbery lick from Morty, Jin turns invisible! As Jin frantically tries to become re-visible, he discovers that Morty is very pregnant!

After a local candy shop suddenly closes, Nai Nai is set on recreating its famous candied fruit. But after Peng starts acting strangely after a late-night sugar binge, the team realizes he’s been possessed by magical sugar-addicted creatures that previously lived in the old candy shop!

The crew discovers that a massive Koi is the cause of a series of earthquakes and that he is missing his precious pearl, the key to a magical underground dam that controls the sewer’s water levels. It’s going to take a heist to extract the pearl from its display at a local museum, before the sewer floods the whole city!

S1 Episode 101 ‘Everest Returns’
Following the events of the feature, Yi struggles to recreate her violin magic without Everest. While her mom and NaiNai prepare for the grand opening of their family dumpling shop, Yi, Jin, and Peng discover that Yi’s violin has attracted a magical bird-like creature, Fenghuang, who needs their help. Yi’s music also calls on Everest, who returns to join the crew and find Fenghuang a suitable home.
