Athena Karkanis

Athena Karkanis is best known for her lead role in NBC/Netflix hit series “Manifest.” Other series regular roles include AMC’s critically acclaimed show “Low Winter Sun,” CBS’ “Zoo,” “The Lottery” for Lifetime, the award-winning CBC drama “The Border” and the Canadian comedy series “Almost Heroes” and “The Best Years.”

Among additional series credits are prominent recurring roles on the final season of “House of Cards” and Syfy’s “The Expanse.” Horror fans will know her from George Romero’s “Survival of the Dead” and her recurring role in the “Saw” franchise.

Her voice can be heard in countless cartoons and video games, notably in her prominent role on “Wild Kratts” for the past 12 years.

She is classically trained in theater and has appeared on stages in New York, Toronto, Montreal and regionally in the United States and Canada.

Karkanis has a degree in political science from McGill University, speaks seven languages, has traveled the world, studies belly dance and runs marathons.
