Hulu’s lineup of exclusive VR content is now available across Microsoft Mixed Reality headsets. We’re excited to expand our VR footprint by joining Microsoft’s family of virtual reality devices and adding the Hulu VR app to the Microsoft Store. The app is among the first third-party media and entertainment apps to debut with the Microsoft Mixed Reality Platform and is available for free starting today.
And, there’s even more reason to celebrate: Hulu and Microsoft have partnered together to debut two never-before-seen premium VR projects: The Driver and A Curious Mind. These two immersive VR experiences are available exclusively to Microsoft Mixed Reality headset users for the next 30 days. After 30 days, The Driver and A Curious Mind will be available able across all Hulu VR-supported platforms, including Gear VR, PSVR, Daydream and Rift.
In The Driver, you’ll jump in the front seat with NASCAR driver, Jeffrey Earnhardt, and experience the thrill of being on the racetrack while driving over 150 miles per hour. The piece was developed specially to simulate g-force, giving you an authentic, true-to-life NASCAR experience.
