Tom Werner has been an influential leader in sports, media, and philanthropy his entire career. Werner and his partner Marcy Carsey created what is generally considered the most successful independent production company in history, embodying the values of integrity and quality. The two of them produced and co-created a number of landmark television series including THE COSBY SHOW, ROSEANNE, THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN, THAT 70s SHOW, A DIFFERENT WORLD, CYBILL, and GRACE UNDER FIRE. He is currently executive producing the third season of THE CONNERS, the #1 comedy on network television. In 2002, Werner joined forces with John Henry to acquire the Boston Red Sox and also serves as Chairman and co-owner of the Liverpool Football Club.
