Jared Keeso

Jared Keeso is the creator, executive producer, writer and stars in the hit Crave and Hulu original comedy series Letterkenny, as well as the upcoming spinoff series Shoresy.
In 2013, Keeso created the short-form web series Letterkenny Problems which has amassed more than 100 million views on YouTube. In 2016, the web series evolved into the popular half-hour comedy series Letterkenny, which was commissioned by Bell Media for Crave and continues to be a flagship program with 10 seasons currently available on the streaming platform. The series was also acquired by Hulu in the United States and SBS in Australia. Critics have praised the series with Rolling Stone calling it “marvelously goofy” and “strange, simple, delightful” as well as The Globe and Mail hailing it as “refreshing and intoxicating.” In addition to winning Best Actor for a Comedy Program, Keeso has also received recognition for his writing on the series garnering a Canadian Screen Award for Best Comedy Series and four Canadian Screen Awards for Best Writing in a Comedy Program or Series. In partnership with New Metric Media, the Letterkenny brand has created many successful off-screen extensions including a collaboration with Labatt Breweries on Puppers Golden Lager, the show’s fictional beer; merchandise licensing deals with Funko, Ripple Junction and High Roller Games; and Letterkenny LIVE!, the North American 90-minute comedy experience featuring stars from the series.
Previously, Keeso starred in four seasons of Bravo’s smash success 19-2, for which he won a CSA for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role. I THINK I TAKE THIS out? In addition, he guest starred in the feature film The Death and Life of John F Donovan opposite Kit Harrington, Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, Susan Sarandon and Kathy Bates.
Keeso has appeared in recurring roles on the popular series Falling Skies, Seven Deadly Sins, Smallville and The Guard. His additional television credits include The 4400, Supernatural, ReGensis, Psych and Caprica. Keeso has also had roles in feature films such as I Love You, Beth Cooper, Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball, A Beginner’s Guide to Endings and Elysium. For the lead role in Keep Your Head Up, Kid: The Don Cherry Story, Keeso won a Leo Award for Best Lead Performance by a Male in a Feature Length Drama and a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Dramatic Program or Mini-series.
