Current Head of Global Growth Marketing for Google Cloud Tapped to Drive
Hulu’s Overall Brand and Product Marketing Strategy Across SVOD and Live TV Services
SANTA MONICA, CA (July 24, 2017) Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins announced today that he has appointed Kelly Campbell as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, Campbell will be responsible for setting and driving Hulu’s overall marketing strategy across its SVOD and Live TV services, and will oversee Hulu’s brand marketing, performance marketing, media, content marketing, creative, entertainment publicity and consumer research teams. Campbell will join Hulu’s senior management team later this summer and will report directly to Hopkins.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Campbell will work closely with the company’s technology, distribution, content and product leadership to drive Hulu’s subscription acquisition efforts and elevate awareness of Hulu’s brand and content offerings. She is also charged with developing the strategic vision and voice behind Hulu’s consumer marketing campaigns.

Campbell joins Hulu from Google, where she served as Managing Director of Global Growth Marketing for Google Cloud. In that role, she was responsible for driving awareness, acquisition, and same-store growth for Google Cloud products, including Google Cloud Platform and G Suite. During her tenure with the group, Campbell was part of the executive team that grew the company’s G Suite business to 3 million paying customers, and she led the re-branding of its offerings globally.
Prior to that, Campbell held multiple senior marketing roles within the company, leading Global G Suite Marketing, Small Business and Education Marketing, and the North America Ads Marketing team. Before moving into Marketing, she led the Dedicated Client Services team for North America and spent a year in Tokyo building out Google’s Online Sales and Operations team. Prior to joining Google in 2005, Campbell worked in Investment Banking for JPMorgan Chase and FleetBoston Financial Corporation.
Campbell holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor of science degree from Vanderbilt University. She resides in Manhattan Beach, CA with her husband and two sons.
