At Hulu, we know that you have an incredible number of streaming devices to choose from— and many of you stream from multiple smart TVs, browsers, streaming boxes and casting devices. That’s why our teams have been hard at work getting you access to the new Hulu UI so that you can take advantage of TV that’s built around you on more of the devices you love. We’re excited to roll out the updated UI and access to Hulu with Live TV to even more devices across platforms including LG, Samsung and Roku.
Beginning today, the updated UI is available on all 2017 and 2018 LG Smart TVs with webOS, as well as select 2016 models. Additionally, we’re rolling out support on all 2018 Samsung Tizen Smart TVs.
And, because you’ve requested it, we’re bringing the new UI to more Roku devices. If you watch Hulu on a Roku Streaming Stick 3500X (that’s the purple one), the next time you fire up your device you’ll have a new Hulu UI that’s uniquely optimized for this low-powered streamer. The Roku 2 (4210X) users will have the new Hulu on their devices today too.
If you watch Hulu on any of these LG, Samsung or Roku devices, you’ll be able to subscribe to Hulu with Live TV to gain access to live and on-demand programming from over 50 top channels, including the newest addition to our channel lineup, The CW, and take advantage of personalized sports experiences.
We hope you enjoy your experience on your supported LG webOS Smart TVs, 2018 Samsung Tizen Smart TVs and select Roku devices. Hulu’s new UI and Live TV service are also currently supported on Apple TV (4th gen.), Amazon Fire TV devices, Roku devices, Xbox One, iOS and Android mobile devices, Nintendo Switch and Chromecast. Stay tuned as we continue to roll out support to more devices.
