Owens previously served as President of National Geographic Channels (NGC), where he oversaw all aspects of corporate strategy and was responsible for unscripted series including “Wicked Tuna,” “Brain Games” and “Life Below Zero,” and introduced scripted programming including “Killing Lincoln,” the Emmy®-nominated “Killing Kennedy” and “Killing Jesus.”

Prior to NGC, Owens was co-founding partner of Reveille, where his production credits included “Nashville Star,” “The Biggest Loser,” “MasterChef” and “American Gladiators.” He began his entertainment career as an agent at the William Morris Agency.
