Butz recently joined the lead cast of Disney’s Better Nate Than Ever. Other recent television credits include starring roles in the NBC series Debris, the PBS series Mercy Street, in the Netflix series Bloodline, and as ‘Paddy Chayefsky’ on the FX limited series Fosse/Verdon. Film credits include Dan In Real Life, Higher Ground, The English Teacher, Better Living Through Chemistry, and Luce. Butz is also a two-time Tony Award winner for ‘Best Actor in a Musical,’ and one of only nine actors ever to have won the award twice as a lead actor on Broadway – first for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and second for Catch Me If You Can. He also garnered two Tony Award nominations for his work in Thou Shalt Not and My Fair Lady, and is also a five-time Drama Desk nominee and two-time winner, amongst other stage accolades.

Conrad “Co” Roy II (Norbert Leo Butz) is Coco’s father. Toughened by life and work at the docks and on the boats in Mattapoisett, MA, Co is forced to face his own mistakes as a father and sets out to come to terms with the death of his son.
