Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Gavin Drea had his initial breakthrough performance in Lenny Abrahamson’s critically acclaimed feature film WHAT RICHARD DID.

He has worked consistently on screen since then in such films as: Luc Besson’s sci-fi ep-ic VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS; MY SALINGER YEAR with Margaret Qualley & Sigourney Weaver, which was directed by Philippe Falardeau; and as ‘Philip’ in SWEETNESS IN THE BELLY opposite Dakota Fanning.

His television credits include: Netflix’s new series VIKINGS: VALHALLA; ORIGIN for Left Bank Pictures; THE ALIENIST; LOVE/HATE; and MY MOTHER AND OTHER STRANGERS for the BBC. On stage, he was last seen opposite Ruth Negga in the US remount of The Gate’s hugely successful production of HAMLET at St. Ann’s Ware-house in New York, which was directed by Yaël Farber. Gavin voiced the lead male role of ‘V’ in the hit video game CYBERPUNK 2077.

A bundle of insecurities outside of the hospital (where he works as a doctor), Stefan is a hopeless romantic. He ruins every relationship by placing his partners on a pedestal, convincing himself that they’re ‘The One’ before he’s gotten to know them.
