Richard Schwartz joined Will Gluck in 2011 to launch the television arm of Olive Bridge Entertainment. The company has since become a prolific supplier to cable and streaming networks, with five series currently in production. Olive Bridge’s acclaimed Disney+ musical docuseries ENCORE! featuring Kristen Bell, was recently honored with the 2020 Directors Guild of America Award for Best Non-Fiction Program. In addition, Olive Bridge is preparing a second docuseries project for Disney+ to launch in 2021. Under the leadership of Schwartz, Olive Bridge is also currently in production on two original new series for Netflix, a scripted single-camera comedy and an adult animated comedy, both slated to launch in the coming year. Previous series include Michael J. Fox’s television comeback for NBC, family comedy The McCarthys for CBS, and the Annie Award-nominated animated series Moonbeam City for Comedy Central. Prior to Olive Bridge, Schwartz worked for Conan O’Brien’s production company Conaco, where he oversaw production of comedy Andy Barker, P.I. starring Andy Richter, and Adult Swim favorite Eagleheart starring Chris Elliott, as well as the NBC drama Outlaw. Schwartz previously worked at Warner Bros Television and FOX Sports, after getting his start working for filmmaker David Lynch. Schwartz is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
