The Handmaid’s Tale

AMANDA can currently be seen in the upcoming 5th season of the Emmy & Golden Globe winning Warren Littlefield series THE HANDMAID’S TALE in the role of ‘Rita’. She stars opposite Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahvoski, and Ann Dowd.

On the comedy side, AMANDA recently won the Canadian Screen Award for her for Best Guest Performance in a Comedy for her work on KIM’S CONVENIENCE.

Amanda was also a recurring judge on season 2 of CANADA’S DRAG RACE, that earned her a 2022 CSA win for best judge/ host in reality competition alongside Brook Lynn Hytes and Brad Goreski.

Her latest film, Ashgrove, that she co-wrote, produced and stared in, premiered at the 2022 Glasgow film festival and won best ensemble at the Canadian Film Festival. Recent films include SUGAR DADDY that premiered at the 2021 Whistler Film Festival and is currently streaming and cult hit BECKY alongside Kevin James and Joel McHale.

Other film credits include the Oscar nominated film ROOM opposite Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay for director Lenny Abrahamson, the Chris MacBride feature THE EDUCATION OF FREDRICK FITZELL alongside Dylan O’Brien, Maika Monroe and Hannah Gross, KODACHROME alongside Ed Harris as well as the David Cronenberg feature MAPS TO THE STARS.
