Michael is best known for his starring role as Christopher Moltisanti in the acclaimed iconic HBO TV series “The Sopranos,” which earned him a Best Supporting Actor Emmy Award, but he also wrote 5 episodes of the show and wasco-screenwriter of the film “Summer Ofsam,” directed by Spike Lee. He was recently seen in Regina King’s Oscar® nominated film “One Night in Miami” after starring on the NBC series “Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector.” Prior to that, Michael played Governor Andrew Cuomo in the Showtime miniseries, “Escape at Dannemora” opposite Patricia Arquette and History Channel’s “Project Blue Book.” He was also seen in the feature film, “The Last Full Measure” opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan and the late Christopher Plummer. Imperioli has appeared in six of Lee’s films and has also acted in films by Martin Scorsese, Abel Ferrara, Walter Hill, Peter Jackson, and the Hughes Brothers.
