Yusra Warsama is a British performer. She stars as Dr Nadia Omar in Castle Rock Series 2 for Hulu. Other television credits include Call the Midwife (BBC), Mogadishu, Minnesota (HBO), Our Girl (BBC) and Cold Feet (ITV). She also recently played roles in films such as The Journey is the Destination (Prspero Pictures), Last Days on Mars (Fantastic Films) and The Huntsman: Winter’s War (Universal Pictures).

She is also a brilliant stage actress with numerous credits including The Vote (directed by Josie Rourke, Donmar Warehouse), Future Bodies (HOME, Manchester), The Claim (Shoreditch Town Hall) and The Sound of Silence (Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester).

The Harvard-trained Somali medical director of a rural hospital in Jerusalem’s Lot, Dr. Omar’s rational and scientific mind will be put to the test.
