Tasya Teles is a quintessential West Coast girl with her bohemian sensibility and earthy good looks, but don’t let her laid-back vibe fool you. Tasya is a tour de force when it comes to her career. She was launched into the spotlight in 2013 with her first ever role, recurring on DirecTV’s ROGUE opposite Thandie Newton and has been working steadily since her debut.

Born in Toronto to a Brazilian father and Ukrainian mother, she fled the winters with her family at the age of five to her new home in Vancouver. Her artistic potential has been evident from an early age, often finger painting on the bedroom walls, canvases, and performing in public since preschool. After finding some success while modeling in high school, Tasya chose to focus on theatre while studying at Concordia University in Montréal. Upon returning to her home in Vancouver, Tasya dedicated herself completely to her craft. She began reading everything she could find on acting, voice work, and technique, and soon began booking roles. It wasn’t long until she joined the hit CW Series THE 100 as a series regular, where she played Echo for five seasons.

Tasya recently wrapped season 1 in Letterkenny’s anticipated spin off, SHORESY, where she plays the witty ball-busting female lead, Nat. SHORESY will be airing in May on Crave in Canada, and Hulu in the US. Before that she was a Series Regular on The CW’s THE 100 for 5 seasons. She also recurred on Netflix’s TRAVELERS, as well as the Audience Network’s ROGUE, opposite Cole Hauser and Thandie Newton. On the feature side, she can be seen opposite Ron Perlman in SKIN TRADE for Hyde Park Entertainment, and the CBS Films/ IM Global Feature AFFLICTED which won Best First Feature at TIFF. Other TV credits include the PRISON BREAK: SEQUEL for FOX, USA’s RUSH, Lifetime’s WITCHES OF EAST END, CW’s IZOMBIE and Syfy’s CONTINUUM.
